Japan Entrepreneur Seeks Electric Car World Speed Record

Nakashima believes that electric cars are the future and noisy engines will no longer be an option sooner rather than later.

Tokushi Nakashima, 38, is obsessed with his desire to produce the world's fastest electric car.

"Speed can be used to measure technological advancement," he said.

In Tokyo, his car, the Super Elexceed, attracted a lot of attention at an auto show last month for its streamlined body.
