St. Paul Police Get New Way Around
St. Paul police officers 150 years ago had no way of getting around town other than their feet. Often, the only way they could take drunks to jail was in wheelbarrows.
The newest mode of transportation — this one for officers, not prisoners — might be just as surprising.
On Thursday, the St. Paul Police Department's first Segway Human Transporter hit downtown skyways. The St. Paul Building Owners and Managers Association donated the two-wheeled electric scooter.
