Shell, Siemens agree solar power joint venture
AMSTERDAM, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch/Shell (RD.AS)(SHEL.L) and Siemens Solar GmbH (SIEGn.DE) said on Wednesday they had reached an agreement to launch a joint venture in solar energy.
The joint venture will be 34 percent owned by Siemens AG, 33 percent by Shell and 33 percent by utility E.ON Energie AG (EONG.DE).
Siemens Solar GmbH is a Munich-base joint venture bewteen equipment company Siemans and E.ON.
