Gov. Jeb Bush said the hydrogen-powered SUV that he test drove Thursday was a smooth ride - and one that he wants Florida to take into the future.

With no air pollution, hydrogen power "is worth being involved in - that's for sure," Bush said after test driving a Toyota at the Capitol.

The governor is requesting $15 million in his proposed 2004-05 budget to provide incentives to businesses for developing hydrogen technology.
