A Wee, Green, Enviro-friendly Machine
Leading the pack of cars boarding an early Bainbridge Island ferry, Jim Shepperd looks like he should be driving to film a scene for "The Jetsons" rather than going to work.
Shepperd's Kermit-green, single-seat vehicle, called a Corbin Sparrow, has three wheels and a zany aerodynamic design, sort of like a pea on wheels.
What's really nutty about the 4-foot-wide, 7-foot-long vehicle is that it has no gas tank. It's completely battery-operated.
