Scoot Network Goes with GOVEC Electric Scooter

Scoot's choice of the GO! T1.4 opens up new business opportunities for both the scooter sharing service and its members.

Electric scooter sharing service, Scoot Network, has ordered 150 GOVECS GO! T1.4 cargo models. Based in Munich, Germany with production located in Poland, the T1.4 has a top speed of 45 km/h and a range estimated at 30-50 km (18-30 miles).

Based in San Francisco, Scoot is considered a "freefloating provider, which means that we do not hand out keys over a desk”, says Michael Keating, CEO and founder of Scoot Networks, adding...

"Our customers use a smartphone app to locate and activate a scooter, which is made possible by software that is directly built into the vehicle."

The addition of the large cargo box is thought to open "new possibilities for Scoot customers and broadens the company`s business model: Beside the usual one-way trips across the city the vehicles can now be used for going shopping as well as for commercial transport or delivery services."

The rental rate for a one-way trip is just $2. Members can sign up on the Scoot Network website.
