Harbor Springs, MI - Electric Bikes Worldwide Reports (EBWR) announces publication of the 2015 edition. Published and written by Frank Jamerson, Ph.D. and Ed Benjamin, with combined 40 years in the electric bike business. The 2015 edition includes estimates on electric bike and scooter sales worldwide with projections to 2035.

EBWR estimates worldwide e-bike sales at 36,881,000 for 2014 and 100,000,000 worldwide e-bike sales in 2035. Growth in Southeast Asia, Africa and South America will have the greatest impact for expanded growth out to 2050.

EBWR 2015 includes product innovation, trends in battery, fuel cell and motor technology, identification of top manufacturers, the USA Bicycle Product Suppliers Association initiative working with states on e-bike regulations, growing e-motorcycle products, four wheel EV technology impact on e-bikes and more.

EBWR 2015 suggests e-bike business paradigm shifts may be underway.

Paradigm Shift 1: Auto makers, and auto suppliers, are entering the two-wheel business with expanded technology and marketing options.

Paradigm Shift 2: The collision avoidance technology explosion in the four-wheel market will be adapted to e-bikes making them virtually collision free eventually. E-bike sales will then explode.

Paradigm Shift 3: Jay Townley, noted bike consultant, proposes a way for independent bike dealers to be more customer centric thus stronger, a provocative shift.

Purchase price of the 274-page 2015 edition plus the 2016 Update that issues early in 2016 remains at $590US. See www.ebwr.com for purchase details.
