European Auto Source filmed the many minute steps that it takes to assembly BMW's i3 electric car in this 40-minute video.

The BMW i3 is a groundbreaking electric car in many ways, especially in its unique assembly process. When you see one in the show room, it's hard to appreciate the multiple minute steps that it took to bring it to the level of refinement you admire it at the dealership or best of all, if your fortunate enough to drive.

The following 40-minute video reveals many of those steps in intricate detail, a finely tuned dance of robot and man that results in as perfect an automobile as technology allows.
