"You see the large SUVs and trucks and you think `Why does somebody need that to drive themselves to work?'" said Chris Campbell who bought his Toyota Prius in September.
Campbell, who lives in Franklin, said he decided to buy the hybrid-electric Prius because he is concerned about pollution and he thought the car was a good value.
A hybrid vehicle combines an internal combustion engine with the battery and motor of an electric vehicle. It has twice the fuel efficiency of an internal combustion engine alone.
