2014 Forecast To Be Good Year for Electric Cars

IHS Automotive is predicting that global production of EVs and plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs) will rise 67 percent in 2014 with the largest region being Europe-Middle East-Africa at 40% of market share.

That’s the prediction from IHS Automotive, which said Tuesday it expects global production of EVs and plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs) to rise 67% this year. That compares with just a 3.6% increase in the production of all vehicles globally.
