Forty Train Stations to Get Electric Car Chargers in England
PEOPLE will soon be able to plug their cars in to charge when they go to the railway station. The Government has announced 44 stations in England will get special electrical sockets. The list includes Bodmin Parkway, Liskeard, Looe and Truro and Redruth.
The initiative is part of a £9 million scheme to install charging points around the country.
First Great Western’s major projects manager Sarah McManus said: “These charging points will enable customers to take full advantage of travelling in a more sustainable way, making their journey to our stations and onwards by train.”
