DETROIT - A lot of people come to the 2003 North American International Auto Show to check out the concept cars - such as the Chrysler Tomahawk four-wheeled "motorcycle" with a top speed billed at 400 mph.

But that's not the concept Michelle Rooney was looking for Tuesday at Cobo Center. The Royal Oak resident was comfortable behind the wheel of a Honda Insight, a car powered by a hybrid gasoline/electric engine.

"I like the hybrids," she said. "That's what I'm looking for. I like them because of their fuel efficiency and I like to be eco-friendly."
