Renault's Electric Vehicles Britain-Bound in 2012

Having been teased by radical looking concepts for almost four years, these all-electric vehicles are finally headed across the Channel.

2011 has been a turbulent year for Renault. After selling 26,000 fewer cars in 2011 than 2010, the French brand is taking desperate action with its loss making UK arm. Five model lines are being axed, including the venerable Espace people carrier and the Laguna, which was once a UK favourite.

However, all is not lost. 2012 sees the introduction of the company’s Dacia budget brand and also Renault’s long awaited range of ZE cars. Having been teased by radical looking concepts for almost four years, these all-electric vehicles are finally upon us. Here’s a rundown of what is coming when.
