Toyota Now Recycling All Hybrid Batteries

Dealers sending expended batteries to Kinsbursky Bross for recycling.

Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) is recycling every electric and hybrid vehicle batteries once they reach the end of their lives, as part of a program launched with its dealers.

The battery lasts about seven to 10 years and 150,000 or 300,000 miles and when they began to wane, the power to the wheels will reduce.

The company then collects these batteries and sends them to Kinsbursky Bros. for recycling.
