Civic Hybrid Owner Sues Honda Over Faulty Battery

Heather Peters is suing Honda for $10,000 in small claims court because her car isn't performing as advertised.

On paper, the Honda Civic Hybrid has a claimed fuel economy of 50 miles per gallon. But in the real world, owners have seen closer to 30 MPG.

Needless to say, they are not happy.

But one owner has decided to take the fight straight to Honda. According to Jerry Hirsch of The Los Angeles Times, Civic Hybrid owner Heather Peters has taken action by suing Honda for $10,000 in small claims court.
