Ford's CEO Mulally Launches New Electric Car Era with a Kiss
LAS VEGAS -- With a kiss on the hood for his company's first electric passenger car, Ford CEO and President Alan Mulally ushered in a new era of electrification for the Dearborn automaker.
Mulally unveiled a production version of the Ford Focus Electric hatchback Friday at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas -- the world's largest consumer technology trade show.
"When it comes to empowering the electric vehicle customer, no one is more committed than Ford," Mulally said in his third consecutive CES keynote address.
