Toyota may have had its fair share of problems this year, but that hasn’t stopped the company from pushing its products.

The car manufacturer plans to introduce two new versions of its Prius Hybrid in the U.S. by the end of 2012, to increase sales.

One model will have 50 percent more interior space and storage than the current Prius, while the smaller one will be closer in size to the Toyota Yaris model, Wall Street Journal reported.

Toyota Prius Aqua/C is reputed to get 80+ mpg.

Based on Japan’s JC08 test cycle, the Aqua boasts a fuel economy of 35.4 kilometers per liter, or equivalent to 83 mpg.
