Ford Motor Company is poised to release its first hybrid vehicles this year – an advancement that will help the company catch up to its foreign competitors with respect to hybrid vehicles.

And Project Get Ready Rhode Island (PGR RI), a nonprofit organization that works to align stakeholders, create strategic plans, and help streamline the permitting process to make electric cars a reality, is excited to see the American car company nearing a release of its electric fleet of vehicles.

“We don’t endorse any particular brand, company, or car, but it certainly is a great technology for reducing carbon emissions and saving money,” said Al Dahlberg, the founder of PGR RI.
