Yamaha debuted three electric-powered motorbikes, two of them high-concept models, and one a more conventional design powered by a 600 Watt rear hub motor at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. The EC-f and EC-fs are pictured above, but apart from these photos there is little information about either model available on the company web site.
The EC 03 depicted below is a styled as a practical urban commuter, but again, little additional information is available as to speed, range, pricing. Presumably the trio are powered by lithium ion batteries.
