Myers Motors, a Tallmadge company that makes three-wheel electric cars, is getting fresh cash and business advice in hopes of expanding its business.

JumpStart Inc., a Cleveland nonprofit that assists startup companies, is investing $250,000 in Myers to help the company finish design and engineering work on a two-seat version of its NmG (no more gas) vehicle. The current $30,000 NmG seats one.

Company owner Dana Myers said he's excited about the new investment, especially JumpStart's support in finding new investors. If all goes well, he said, the two-seat NmG could be on the road by the end of the year.
