LSA, Okla. -(Dow Jones)- Syntroleum Corp. (SYNM) and FuelCell Energy Inc. (FCEL) signed a fuel marketing and offtake option agreement that lets FuelCell buy and resell Syntroleum synthetic fuels to its customers.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

In a press release Monday, Syntroleum said the contract also lets FuelCell Energy customers buy synthetic fuel directly from Syntroleum or its licensees.

As part of the agreement, FuelCell acquired the option to buy synthetic fuels from Syntroleum's planned Sweetwater Project under development in Australia, or other Syntroleum plants when they become operational.
