Electric Vehicle Makers Try to Ignite Spark
The all-electric car, pushed into the slow lane in recent years with the introduction of hybrid gasoline-electric vehicles, is still getting a bit of customer traffic.
Toyota has just introduced the $43,000 RAV4 EV, the first compact sport utility vehicle for the retail market fueled by household current.
This follows the ongoing test marketing begun last year of Ford's lease-only Think city two-seater, which so far has been embraced by 23 area motorists.
