Tesla Sets March 17th Production Date

SYNOPSIS: Chairman Elon Musk is slated to receive first production Roadster.

Tesla Motors, the Silicon Valley electric car start-up, says it will begin production of its delayed Roadster model on March 17.

The company said late Wednesday that it has secured all emission and safety certifications for its first vehicle.
