Sanyo Mulls Fuel Cell Tie With Samsung
TOKYO, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Sanyo Electric Co Ltd (6764.T), the world's largest maker of rechargeable batteries, said on Friday it was in talks with South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (05930.KS) on cooperating in fuel cells and other technologies.
Sanwa Electric President Yukinori Kuwano told reporters the two companies were in discussions but declined to give details.
"That is what I hear," he said, when asked if talks were under way.
