MARYVILLE, Mo. -- Is it possible, after all these years of holding our noses, that we've underestimated manure?

You might think so if you visited Northwest Missouri State University, where they are doing things with the waste products of hogs and cows these days that nature never dreamed.

And they are saving millions of dollars.
