    His name is Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi. He is Saudi Arabia’s Oil Minister; and he’d be the last person you’d think would warn that “Greenhouse gas emissions and global warming are among humanity’s most pressing concerns.”

    He added, “Societal expectations on climate change are real, and our industry is expected to take a leadership role. We are doing this in Saudi Arabia.”

    Ironically, he made this comment during a recent speech in London while reassuring the world that his country can be relied on help make up possible shortfall that an embargo against Iranian oil might produce.
